Although their wedding was during the summer in North Carolina, they wanted their engagement session to take place in Chicago, IL. I have never been, but was super excited! Once there, I finally understood people's loyalty to the windy city!
We spent the day roaming around parts that only a Chicago native would find, but not a tourist. We started at the infamous Millennium Park's Cloud Gate sculpture, also known as the "bean". From there, we headed to the Art Institute of Chicago to recreate Katherine and Lynn's first date. We ended our shoot at Lake Michigan. It was a wonderful day!At Home (7), Backlighting (6), Chicago (2), Cloud Gate (2), Destination Portrait Session (10), Engagement Session (46), Lincoln Park, Millennium Park (2). 1/50; f/4.0; ISO 500; 24.0 mm.
